We created Chamber choir Mysterium Kranj five years ago with a simple wish: to perform quality choir music in a friendly atmosphere and evolve together to great singers. In our program we combine knowledge with fun as we perform technically demanding as well as more casual works, with which we try to present choir music to a wider circle of listeners.

Under the leadership of Dominik Jurca we have been active since the end of January 2010. Our musical repertoire is quite diverse. It consists of sacral and secular music of foreign and, of course, Slovenian authors. We are also very happy with our cooperation with younger Slovenian composers (Jereb, Petelin, Quaggiato, Dolenc). Each year we perform at least one domestic novelty. We organize thematic concerts and we also enjoy cooperating with other choirs, vocal casts and performing on charity concerts and other events.

Our regular lessons are on Sunday evenings, we also have whole-day lessons approximately four times a year and we go on a multi-day intensive socializing once a year. There we improve the technical aspect of our program and we also get to know each other better. We enrich our knowledge in choir workshops with masters like Sebastjan Vrhovnik and dr. Brady R. Allred. We received numerous awards for our performances, on which we are very proud.

We believe that the secret of our success is friendship and sincere love for music.
We are also creative on other fields and together we take care of everything: from organizing concerts to designing our image from concert journals to styling. Currently there are 26 of us singing in the choir.
